The status display
The app narrates what it’s doing — load results, alignment notes, warnings, save confirmations, clipboard copies — so you’re never left guessing whether something worked.
The status pill
At the top right of the toolbar is the status pill: a single line showing the most recent message only. It’s the at-a-glance “what just happened” — a package opened, a video loaded, a warning raised.

The full history
Messages are never thrown away. The Status ▾ button beside the pill opens a floating window with the complete running history of the session, in order — the place to look when a message flashed past too quickly, or when you want to see the sequence of what happened (for example, every clipboard timecode that was copied, or the details behind a warning).
The history window is always on top and sized relative to the main window; it closes with the app and remembers its own placement between sessions.
